Previous increment · 5 October 2026

The earlier four-quarter review retains its 28 September cutoff. This incremental review adds Micron FY2026 Q4, released 30 September, and its separate post-earnings analyst call. Public-source searches covered the existing 35-company universe; search checks are not a complete filing-archive audit.

Metric / USDReported Q4Management Q1 FY2027 guidance
Revenue$54.229bn$60–63bn
Non-GAAP diluted EPS$33.42$38.15 ± $1.00
Non-GAAP gross margin87.0%Approximately 86.25%
Operating cash flow / net CapEx / adjusted FCF$43.97bn / $10.77bn / $33.20bnNot a full cash-flow guide

Reported customer cash deposits of $12.3bn in Q4 were classified as financing activities, outside operating cash flow and adjusted FCF. Our model implication: reconcile financing obligations before treating the cash balance as available for capital return.

New exercises test investment-to-output lags, contract price bands, cost recognition and latent demand. Ten selected probes have dated analyst affiliations. Mirrors have not been audio-verified, and pre-release buy-side expectations remain unavailable.

Next confirmed evidence: TSMC 15 October; Lam 21 October; KLA 28 October; Digital Realty 29 October. Existing downloadable reports retain their original cutoff.

35 companies · 146 quarterly events + 2 standalone post-earnings calls · 191 selected Q&A probes · 4 supplemental non-quarterly disclosures

Scope and reading guide. This applies the analyze-conference-qa framework to a broad 35-company public-market universe, using four reported quarters per company at the original cutoff, followed by dated incremental additions. It is a focused material-question review, not an exhaustive census of every technical ask. Every company-quarter has at least one coded probe. The ledger separates management testimony from our follow-up requirements; an “answered” label does not validate the claim.

What changes the architecture decision

Procure a commissioned system, not a capex headline.

Supply assurances refer to different stages: component allocation, equipment delivery, powered-shell completion, utility agreements and service acceptance. CoreWeave identifies shell execution in one delayed project; Equinix identifies power in dense facilities. Those statements concern different constraints and need not conflict.

Decision implication: Require a dated chain of commitments from wafers and memory through integration, energization and workload acceptance. Record the owner and recovery plan at each stage.

The CPU question is now part of AI capacity planning.

Compute vendors increasingly describe orchestration and tool execution alongside accelerator work. Yet Dell says much conventional server growth still comes from established enterprise demand, and TSMC excludes CPUs from its AI accelerator measure. Revenue labels therefore do not identify a universal agentic CPU/GPU ratio.

Decision implication: Size CPU cores, DRAM, storage I/O and network demand from measured agent traces; separate refresh demand from new AI execution.

Memory is a hierarchy and an allocation problem.

HBM requirements are rising, while suppliers discuss conventional DRAM, flash, cache offload and stronger agreements. Additional HBM output competes for manufacturing resources with other products. Statements about samples, booked capacity and shipments represent different evidence levels.

Decision implication: Specify bandwidth, capacity, latency, endurance and power by tier. Ask for qualified delivery quantities and contract terms, not only a claim that annual supply is sold out.

Inference does not have one winning chip or location.

Amazon and Microsoft retain multiple silicon choices while investing internally. Oracle emphasizes hardware execution latency; Cisco emphasizes local real-time use cases. These positions reflect different workloads rather than a settled central-versus-edge outcome.

Decision implication: Compare complete request paths: prefill, decode, tools, retrieval, network transit and service-level targets. Include software migration, utilization and fallback costs.

Architecture boundaries are moving toward integrated delivery.

Networking, cooling and power suppliers describe increasing interdependencies. Vertiv explicitly calls the procurement shift gradual and partial. Eaton describes a broader capability set for DC infrastructure, while Schneider expects staged adoption.

Decision implication: Make interface ownership, qualification, protection, maintainability and acceptance criteria part of the system contract. Do not infer universal adoption from a reference design.

Growth statistics need a physical and contractual denominator.

Lenovo distinguishes opportunities from orders. Oracle and Meta describe financing structures that change reported capex without eliminating infrastructure investment. Equipment suppliers distinguish manufacturing volume from process intensity and upgrades.

Decision implication: Compare committed versus prospective demand; units versus price; energized MW versus land runway; and all-party investment versus issuer capex. Avoid adding supplier revenues across the same stack.

Follow-ups ranked by architectural consequence

These are proposed diligence questions, not claims that every analyst asked them. The ranking is an analytical judgment, not a numerical risk score.

Company coverage and four-quarter progression

Quarters retain the source’s fiscal labels; they are not synchronized calendar periods. Each link opens the transcript used. Dates refer to the call, not the quarter-end. Schneider’s Q1 and Q3 slots are revenue-update calls; its other slots are half-year and full-year results.

Universe boundary: this covers leading public compute, memory, foundry, cloud, server, network, power/cooling, colocation and equipment companies. It is not every listed supplier. Private model labs and private infrastructure vendors lack comparable quarterly public Q&A. Specialist optical/interconnect suppliers, additional ODMs, storage-only vendors, OSATs and utilities are outside this edition. Examples outside scope include Credo, Astera Labs, Foxconn, Celestica, ASE, NetApp and Pure Storage. Qualcomm is included for its emerging infrastructure role; some of its memory discussion concerns adjacent device markets.

Method, denominators and evidence limits

The original inventory contained 35 × 4 = 140 quarterly slots, all with transcript sources and selected Q&A coverage; the 5 October refresh adds one quarterly event (Micron FY2026 Q4) and one post-earnings call, for 141 quarterly events + 1 post-earnings call at that cutoff. The 19 October refresh adds 3 quarterly events (including Schneider revenue-only), giving 144 quarterly events and 1 standalone post-call. The 26 October refresh adds 2 quarters and a distinct Meta follow-up, giving 146 quarters and 2 standalone post-calls. The historical four-quarter coverage table is retained; new events are listed in the incremental section. Retrieval and keyword-assisted candidate identification were followed by editorial selection and answer review. The 191 probes are grouped question-level records, with related subparts retained where the answer addresses them together; they are not 191 exhaustively normalized atomic asks. Compute suppliers receive more selected probes than most other companies. Repeated themes retain separate company-quarter provenance and are synthesized above rather than erased.

Source hierarchy: company-hosted material was used where available, supplemented by full transcript mirrors of the actual management exchange. Media-call and prerecorded ASML entries were replaced with analyst calls; a mislabeled Lam Q4 entry and an inconsistent Applied Q1 entry were replaced. Original audio was not systematically replayed. There is no separate online audience-question corpus to reconcile, and absence from the selected ledger must not be interpreted as silence on the call. Translation, speaker-label and transcription errors remain possible; ambiguous attribution is marked. Numerical performance claims and apparent unit errors were not promoted into independently verified specifications.

Coding definitions

Answered: directly addresses the selected substantive ask, even if qualitative.
Partially answered: provides relevant information but leaves a requested component unresolved.
Deferred: explicitly moves disclosure to a later occasion.
Deflected: substitutes an adjacent issue without addressing the ask; no selected record was assigned this label.
Unanswered: the requested disclosure was not provided in the reviewed exchange, including an explicit refusal to quantify.

A follow-up can be a missing part of the original answer or a new validation requirement proposed here. It does not automatically make a direct answer “partial.” Status applies at that call date; later quarters do not retroactively change it.
